Start point is at SO 731 521 and we will be walking northwards along the Crews Hill ridge, finishing at the Fox and Hounds Inn at Lulsley (SO 739 545) in time for a drink and a bag of crisps.

If you do not wish to linger at the pub then please make this clear before we leave the Knapp & Papermill so that we can make suitable arrangements for you to rejoin your vehicle at the end of the walk.

Distance will be around 2 miles and the walk is expected to last between 1½ and 2 hours, depending on the number of bats encountered and the level of group interest.

Some walking over rough ground - so stout footwear and suitable waterproof clothing are essential. Bring a torch, and if you have one, a bat detector - however if you don't, then we do have bat detectors available for loan.
