Bat Boxes

Members of the Worcestershire Bat Group are involved in monitoring Bat Boxes - including two major schemes in conjunction with the Vincent Wildlife Trust.  One of these  - Tinker's Hill Wood - is the subject of an article by Johnny Birks - click here to read it.

We are also actively installing new Bat Boxes in appropriate places in Worcestershire.

A recent installation was several novel boxes designed by Fergus Henderson, based on recycled hollow apple tree branches and erected in the Knapp & Papermill Nature Reserve.
